These terms govern the use of NETCLIPS by brands and creators who fund clipping campaigns. Creating a campaign means you accept them on behalf of the business you represent.
1. The service
NETCLIPS is operated by NETCLIPS (legal entity in formation, Amsterdam, the Netherlands — KvK and VAT numbers will be published here upon registration). You publish a campaign with source material, rules, a budget, and a rate per 1,000 verified views. Verified clippers cut and post clips; we verify views through official platform APIs, keep the money records, review submissions with you, and pay clippers from your campaign budget.
2. Accounts and verification
- Campaigns are for business use. You must provide accurate company details; we may require business verification before a campaign can be funded or before larger budgets are enabled.
- You are responsible for the people you authorise to use your brand account.
3. Campaign content and your warranties
- You must own or hold the rights to all source material you upload and warrant that campaign content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe third-party rights.
- Prohibited campaign categories — no exceptions: alcohol, gambling and casinos, tobacco and vaping, adult or sexualised content, weapons, and anything illegal or deceptive. NETCLIPS refuses and removes campaigns in these categories.
- You grant participating clippers a limited licence to edit and post excerpts of your source material solely for the campaign, and NETCLIPS a licence to host and display it to campaign participants. Any wider re-use of a clipper's cut by you should be stated in the campaign brief.
4. Budgets, funding, and fees
- Campaign budgets are prepaid: a campaign goes live once its budget is received. The budget is committed to paying for verified views on that campaign.
- Earnings accrue to clippers at your stated rate, capped by the remaining budget; when the budget is exhausted the campaign stops accruing.
- NETCLIPS charges a platform fee on amounts processed through the platform; the current fee is shown before you fund. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (cards and iDEAL).
5. Review duties
- You (or our moderation on your behalf) review submissions. Rejections carry a reason visible to the clipper.
- Approved clips accrue earnings from your budget based on verified views — approve what meets your brief, reject what does not, promptly. Prolonged inaction may lead to neutral moderation decisions to keep the campaign fair.
6. Ending campaigns and refunds
You can pause or end a campaign at any time; accruals already earned by clippers stand. Unspent budget of an ended campaign is refundable on request, minus non-recoverable payment processing costs. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
7. Relationship
Clippers are independent professionals, not employees or agents of you or NETCLIPS. Nothing in the platform creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship.
8. Data
For your campaigns you see clipper display names, submitted clips, view statistics, and what each clip earned from your budget. If you export or otherwise process that data you act as an independent controller under the GDPR and must use it only for running your campaign.
9. Indemnity and liability
You indemnify NETCLIPS against third-party claims arising from your campaign content or your breach of section 3. NETCLIPS' total liability to you is limited, to the extent the law allows, to the platform fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect damage. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Changes, law, and disputes
We may amend these terms with at least 14 days' in-app notice for material changes. Dutch law applies; disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam.
