These terms govern your use of NETCLIPS as a clipper: the person who cuts and posts short-form clips for brand campaigns and earns from verified views. Please read them — submitting a clip means you accept them.
1. What NETCLIPS is
NETCLIPS is operated by NETCLIPS (legal entity in formation, Amsterdam, the Netherlands — KvK and VAT numbers will be published here upon registration). We provide the marketplace: brands publish funded campaigns, you post clips, we verify views through official platform APIs, keep the money records, and process payouts. We are a platform — we are not your employer, agent, or broadcaster.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to contract.
- One account per person, with accurate information; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Channels you connect must be yours — ownership is verified (for example via a code in your channel description) and submissions are only accepted from verified channels.
3. Campaigns and submissions
- Each campaign page states its own rules: source material, editing guidelines, captions, tagging, and what is not allowed. Those campaign rules are part of these terms for that campaign.
- Your clip must be your own original cut of the campaign's source material. The brand grants you a limited, revocable licence to use that material solely to create and post clips for that campaign.
- You remain the publisher of your posts on the social platforms and must comply with their rules.
- Submissions are reviewed; rejected clips earn nothing and always carry a reason you can see.
4. Ad disclosure — non-negotiable
Every campaign clip is a paid partnership. You must use the posting platform's branded-content/paid-partnership feature AND include a clear disclosure such as #ad, visible without expanding the caption, in line with EU consumer law and, where applicable, US FTC guidance. Missing disclosure leads to rejection; repeat violations to removal from campaigns; earnings on non-compliant posts can be reversed.
5. Earnings
- Approved clips accrue earnings at the campaign's stated rate per 1,000 verified views, based on the immutable view snapshots we record from platform APIs.
- Accrual is capped by the campaign's remaining budget (and by any per-clipper maximum on the campaign page). When a budget is exhausted, accrual stops — views after exhaustion earn nothing. Earnings accrue in submission order per verification batch.
- View counts, earnings, and balances shown in your dashboard are the platform's books; manifest calculation errors will be corrected in both directions.
- You act as an independent professional. NETCLIPS makes no promises about how much you will earn; past results of others are not a forecast of yours.
6. Payouts
- Minimum payout: €20. Payouts run through Stripe; you must complete Stripe's onboarding (including its identity checks) to receive money.
- New accounts have a payout hold window (currently up to 14 days). Consistent, clean performance shortens it via the recognition tiers (First Cut → Fine Cut → Final Cut).
- Earnings can be reversed before or during the hold if a clip breaks these terms — see section 7 — or if the underlying post is deleted or made private within 30 days of posting.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Buying views, bot traffic, engagement pods, view-exchange groups, or any artificial inflation — this reverses all affected earnings and can end your account permanently.
- Re-uploading another clipper's cut, or re-submitting your own previous clip.
- Misleading captions, fabricated quotes, or content outside the campaign's source material.
- Multiple accounts, identity misrepresentation, or circumventing a suspension.
8. Taxes and DAC7
You are responsible for declaring and paying tax and social contributions on what you earn. As an EU platform we may be legally required to collect your seller details and report yearly earnings to the Dutch tax administration under DAC7 once thresholds are met; we will ask you for the required details when that applies to you.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using NETCLIPS at any time; your accrued, clean earnings above the minimum remain payable. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms; where money is involved you will always be told the reason and can respond before a final decision, except where the law requires immediate action.
10. Liability
NETCLIPS is provided with reasonable care but without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amounts paid out to you in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profits or lost followers. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
11. Changes, law, and disputes
We may amend these terms; material changes are announced in-app at least 14 days ahead, and continued use means acceptance. Dutch law applies; disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam. EU residents can also use the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
